Kate Wyer lives in Baltimore with her husband and their two cats and three dogs. She holds a BA in English from Goucher College and an MFA from the University of Baltimore. Wyer is the author of the novel Black Krim, which was nominated for the Debut-litzer from Late Night Library. She was a finalist for the Omnidawn Fabulist Fiction contest. Wyer works in the public mental health system.
